Hello all.  It's been almost one week since Leaving DNA was released.  There are already 13 reviews on that one site, and three ratings on Itch, all positive.  And with my Patreon up for only four days, there are already eight of you supporting me!

I expected to languish in obscurity for at least a couple of updates, so the response has been a very rewarding surprise.  The fact that anybody would choose to jump on this train, especially when all I've released is the demo, is very humbling, and you all have my deepest gratitude.

Despite a very busy week at work, I am making progress on releasing the complete Part One.  I was a little impatient to release the demo and unfortunately missed a number of rendering issues.  I've corrected maybe two dozen renders from the demo, changed a couple of minor spots of dialogue, and slightly changed the coloring of the menu screens.

I've got about forty new renders completed and am currently working on a new Daz set: Jamie's apartment.  Since I wanted a nice family portrait to hang up, I finished the models of her parents and I'm attaching the Carrington family picture to this post.

Parts One through Four are already scripted, and I've made some small headway into Part Five.

The next few months will continue to be very busy for me at my job, but I do work on LDNA every single day.  Even with my work schedule I've probably averaged 40 to 50 hours a week on this project over the last several months.

I am optimistic that I can finish Part One by the end of August, but as I'm still brand new to being a game developer, I can't make any promises right now.  I will continue to give you weekly progress updates.

Thank you for your support--it means a lot to me!

Don't worry about hitting any particular deadline for deliverables. You have the hard core of the story/narrative-first crowd behind you at this point... it's safe to say that none of us will insist on scheduled updates. We just want you to realize your vision. I'd encourage you to visit jufot's story-first thread on the website you mentioned...
