what I noticed about Mori no Kuma-san is that it’s definitely geared towards woman (especially ones who don’t like full on furry, just animal characteristics,) and what I saw on certain sites that uploaded it, it’s a huge hit. Probably considered one of the best new Bl for women since it’s also pretty graphic, and has beefier bodies than what’s usually seen. personally I’m obsessed with it but yeah, i can see guys not liking this. New stuff I’m watching and loving is Uncle from Another World (hilarious), Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting (the Yakuza boss is an intimidating but adorable teddy bear) ,the new Prince of Tennis, but may drop it since the quality is inconsistent, and another one that’s such a pleasant surprise is called Phantom of the Idol. It’s like if Idolish7, Ya Boy Kongming, Uramichi, Magical Girl Ore, Princess Jellyfish, and Natsuyuki Rendezvous had a baby. The plot is insane but it’s so worth it, I especially recommend this. Plus the narrator is Aizen’s seiyuu, Show Hayami. It’s his birthday tomorrow so do him solid and watch it if you want a laugh!

I found shoot so funny to watch, the drama is off the chat, the characters are so shippable and amount of flashbacks was so much it became a count of how much shoot can we hear in an episode 🤣🤣🤣. Although I preferred the previous format, this new 3eps ruling does flow well

Lovely

You said all the magic words to convince me to watch phantom of the idol. I've been hesitant because it's on HiDive and I've been too lazy to make an account.... EDIT- Also, I JUST noticed your screen name XD .

i mean theres plenty of men who enjoy catboys, bearboys and etc that arent full on furry aesthetics, i wouldnt necessarily say thats a thematic trait predisposed to appeal to just women, its just not a thing i PERSONALLY am drawn to, i wasnt speaking for all queer men tastes just my own. Coupled with the more muscular body aspect which is usually more prevalent in manga made by/for gay men especially in furry art i feel like its not necessarily a women/queer men thing as to why its blowing up and just the fact that it has an anime at all thats making it big, especially cause historically women BL fans have preferred by and large the more slender body types in my experience so i feel like those two themes counteract the historic stereotype of certain BL appeal. Im also enjoying Kami Kuzu Idol (Phantom of the Idol) its been a joy so far lmao

they say "shoot" SO MUCH LMFAOOOO and then i get confused cause tsujis nickname is ALSO shoot so im like "are they calling him or are they telling someone to make a goal..." LMFAO

Woah i’m so glad! It left on such a wild cliffhanger on last weeks episode, I really don’t want to spoil anything but truly this show was such a refreshing surprise! Currently undergoing i7 withdrawal and although was never an idol fan until Krispnatz starting evangelizing i7, I can’t get enough of some of the newer idol shows like Ya Boy Kongming and Phantom of the Idol. I forgot to add, the ML’s face and personality reminds me a lot of Nozaki, if you ever seen Monthly girls Nozaki-kun, so that’s another plus in my book. Uramichi and Nozaki made a lazy, pessimistic baby lol. And Lol! I know so many hate this man but I am trying to pull a Hua Cheng and spread the love for this misunderstood ojisan! I love me some crazy Dilfs... 🙏♥️

ooops I actually wasn’t intending to sound like I was generalizing but I guess it came off like that! I frequent MRM and read a lot of comments on all types of BL, and I noticed what most of the males are reading and enjoying on there by the comments, as well as what is being well received in the fujoshi community, and noticed the comments were overwhelming positive for Mori no Kuma-san among women. Another trend I notice amongst fujoshi is love of not just animal characteristic, but dark or tan characters. It’s blown up in the last two years or three years. Love for characters like Leona from Twisted Wonderland, Mammon, Simeon and Diavolo from Obey Me, and a bunch of new original works of these dark skin hunks, and the overwhelming love for Goblin Cave and those muscular bodies among woman was crazy (in a good way!) and Mori no Kuma-san has it all. So that’s why i said it seems to hit all the right points to be super popular, especially amongst women. Sorry if I came off generalizing, more than making an observation by reading all the comments in favor of Mori no Kuma-san. And I’m glad you are enjoying Phantom of the Idol! I remember from the past that Aizen’s seiyuu’s would oppress you with his voice lol (man how much I’d love to rewatch those old vids) but it was through his twitter I found it! Can’t wait for your upcoming vids btw! Your TGCF and bracket one were great! But I’m definitely looking forward to your manga recs, if you can’t tell from my user name...

no worries no worries i wasnt suggesting you were generalizing i was just sharing my observations on the same kind of interests lmao. What youve seen is what youve seen i wasnt tryna say what youve seen was "wrong" or anything just sharing my point of viewwww sorry if i came off dismissive lmao

I understand. i know i can come off accidentally as rude or arrogant douche cause I have a bad habit of liking bastard characters and using them as pfp’s so I feel like that rubs off as seeming as if I’m intentionally being a jerkass lol. Seriously this happens quite a bit, i’d compare it to back in the day before emojis when you couldn’t infer the intention of a person, I noticed if you use some antagonistic character as a pfp, people think you relate to them instead of want to be curb stomped by them and go on that assumption. I think I doomed myself on every platform to seem like a rude ass mf’er. hehe

KrisPNatz

nahhh dont worry i didnt think you were a douche LMAO i have my fair share of aggro anime assholes i lust as well~
