I’ve been a bit too busy for all the shows I’m trying to watch this season, so I can’t really say much about them yet. However, the first 2 episodes of YATAGARASU were so good and I hope more people give it a chance. The 2 shows you didn’t mention that I’m curious about are Oblivion Battery and Black Butler. I know the first one’s from CRAPPA but it’s the only baseball anime this season, and I’m concerned that you won’t get your weekly fix. 😂 Also, I feel like you talked about your feelings on Black Butler in a video once but can you remind me? I figured you’d be on board for the Ciel x Sebastian dynamic.

Oblivion Battery I’m IGNORING LMAO (I’ll just rewatch major 2nd to get my baseball fix if everyone waits until next year for the full 10th koshien anni) and black butler I’ve never seen and also have no interest but also am of course on board for ciel x Sebastian LMAO so wild to think that Toboso is now a Disney contractor lmaolmao

crunchyroll was able to get the blue lock movie but im gonna laugh if season two is only disney/hulu cuz of their deal with kodansha.

Bobarisu

I need to watch Yatagarasu because I loved Raven of the Inner Palace. The inner palace consort shenanigans and crow mysticism venn diagram is so real. Psychic Princess (Tong ling fei) is kindaaaa in this category as well since it's got the imperial court setting and the MC has spiritual powers. It's way goofier than Maomao and Raven, but it hit the spot after my Raven of the inner palace hangover. It scratches the "main girl is an outcast and her idiosyncrasies have bewitched the crown prince of faux imperial china" itch, which is very specific but definitely is having a renaissance in animanga atm.

I highly highly recommend Yatagarasu if you especially liked Raven of the Inner Palace, it’s much more thematically in line with that than apothecary diaries imo (enjoyed both personally but thematically very different obvi, plus ravens/crows and magic in both LMAO). It’s currently still my second favorite thing airing (after eupho, it’s a bias) and it just keeps raising the bar with the drama and the political SCANDALS
