One small thing luanne needs to pay for the TRImester of beauty school which I feel is a funny specific detail

I always felt that Buckley telling Luanne she has a birthmark on her butt is a subtle joke, because Luanne asks Buckley to prove he isn’t a figment of her mind but obviously SHE would know she has a birthmark on her butt too so it doesn’t actually prove anything at all

I'm glad Henry explained the "week" and "beak" joke, I would have been lost without him

On community college pricing—it can vary so so much. Where my husband grew up (Scranton, PA) the lone community college was more expensive than state college. When I attended in Portland (Oregon) in the 2010s I believe it was around $300 per class each semester and probably way more now, but in this very year of 2024 the community college classes I take in Santa Monica (for credit as a resident without financial aid) are wildly affordable — like the class I just paid for was $52 for the entire semester! And you get a free bus pass so really it pays for itself. I don’t know how any of this works of course, and community college should just be free, but truly it’s like, you could pay thousands, you could pay practically nothing just depending on the state/city.
