It's February once again, and love is in the air—love between humans and aquatic mammals, that is. We can't explain it, but for whatever reason, the Futurama and King of the Hill episodes we're covering this month each feature stories about traumatic underwater encounters with beautiful beasts. So please, consider that a strange theme we accidentally stumbled into.

But in other news, as we wrap up our sixth year of the What A Cartoon podcast, we're finally getting around to covering Avatar: The Last Airbender! And to close out the month, the What A Cartoon Movie podcast returns to the Studio Ghibli well for the first time in three years with an extra-long look at Porco Rosso.

And remember, if you'd like to listen to this month's episodes of TalKing of the Hill and Talking Futurama, you'll need to sign up at the $5 level or higher on the Talking Simpsons Patreon. Once you subscribe, you'll get to hear our miniseries episodes as soon as they go live, and also access our extensive back catalog of Patreon-exclusive podcasts—over 150 to date!

Here's what's on the schedule for February:

Porco Rosso is one of my all-time faves, and although I'm normally a subs watcher Michael Keaton as Porco is an _inspired_ piece of casting and I can't get enough of it With Cary Elwes, though, I'm unsure what accent he's trying to pull off; as a (ugh) southerner (Texas -> Alabama, double ugh) I cannot place at all where he is trying to land that voice

As someone who agonizes over spending too much, Henry's multiple $300+ purchases sound almost inconceivable. It did inspire me to stop penny pinching and get a few items that caught my eye while on vacation
