We've reached the end of the month (and the year!), which means it's once again time for another installment of our community podcast! Join us as we discuss even more season 35 episodes, The Simpsons' ranking on Variety's 100 Greatest TV Shows of All Time list, Bill Oakley's annual Steamie Awards, and more.  And, as always, we read and respond to your questions and comments from the most recent round of episodes. Thanks again for another great year! Now let's all sit back and play the waiting game...

Admittedly, I did find it funny hearing lots of storytelling critiques...and then hearing unadulterated praise for Batman Returns; a film I consider utterly disastrous narratively 😅 Still, I can definitely understand those issues with Boy And the Heron. I'm somewhere in the middle between loving it and sharing those frustrations myself. Like Henry, I'm hoping a rewatch via the dub will confirm my stance one way or the other

I haven't watched the new Chicken Run yet, but it's funny/unfortunate that they recast Mel Gibson to try and have a lead that isn't a toxic piece of shit, but since they cast Zachary Levi, it's become apparent that he's a hardcore conservative and anti-vaxxer himself, so they just can't catch a break

In Hayao's defence, He's gotten super old! He's in his mid 80's atm & I guess a bit of his spark has probably gone out by now. We should really consider ourselves lucky that Goro et al, are prepared to take over when he goes for good.
