When a low-effort con man enters Luanne's life, Bobby joins in as a third wheel. But this Matthew McConaughey-voiced suitor pushes things too far, causing Luanne to initiate a breakup—and a fierce practical joke war between Luanne and Bobby over their shared lost love. And what follows somehow fully justifies this episode's misleading title. It's all happening on this month's TalKing of the Hill, where we've cleverly replaced Christmas with Pranksmas!

I had a one night stand that was trying to pressure me into unprotected sex because she had a thing for, let's say, a specific type of pie. She tried to assure me she was on birth control and etc. I noped out and got a vasectomy not long after.

This is a bit of an odd episode as some of the prank stuff seems a little out of character for Hank and Peggy, but it doesn't go too far. In a way, it's refreshing that we don't need to have a scene where Hank and Peggy discuss their strategy in detail with what they're doing and how far they want to take it. It keeps the audience in the dark for the extended prank post wedding. I'm actually fine with Rad being dropped early because, as was noted more than once, he talks soooooo slooooooow. I kind of lose my mind listening to him so the sooner he get out the better, for me. Even though he is wonderfully portrayed. I wouldn't go as low as 1.5 stars, but A Muppet Family Christmas is definitely overrated in most spaces. I think the unavailability of it for so long built it up in people's minds. And it sounds kind of epic if it's sold as all of the various Muppets are in one place at one time to celebrate Christmas. It's pretty amusing for much of it, but at about the point Kermit and Robin meet the Fraggles it starts to get pretty bad. Watching the final musical numbers is an exercise in endurance. I've had the '87 version ever since it originally aired and it was the last special on my beloved Christmas Tape and, honestly, I'd watch it once or twice a season and it was a common place for me to shut it off and hit rewind. Bert's "This is small talk where we're from," line to Doc always gets me as does Oscar's pondering of what it would be like to have a rat in his trash can.
