Our summer is just getting started and we at Talking Simpsons Network are working hard on preparing more podcasts for all of you! As we enter June, we're not just hard at work on Talking Simpsons and What A Cartoon, but also on our monthly $10 premium podcast, and we'll need your help to decide what we'll be covering in July.

Currently, we're so far ahead in podcast recordings that we've already recorded June's What A Cartoon Movie! (Disney's Hercules), meaning that now we have enough extra time to record our July 2021 movie podcast, and we can start on that as soon as you choose the subject for us!

For those of you who are new to the Talking Simpsons Patreon, WELCOME. Also, you should know that once a month we release the What A Cartoon Movie! podcast, an extra-long discussion about an animated feature film, exclusively for our $10+ Patreon subscribers. And when we open up the voting for each month's subject, we want all the $5 subscribers to also have a chance to be heard, so those subscribers can help pick episodes they might enjoy down the line!

Our next 2021 poll comes at a very special time, as this summer marks 25 years since the debut of Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame! Our What A Cartoon Movie summer of the Disney Renaissance is continuing with this sometimes overlooked gem from 1996, featuring great songs, scary visuals, comedic gargoyles, Tony Jay, Hellfire, and more.

But we still want it to be the choice of our patrons. And so, as we've done in the past with these types of movie podcasts, we're leaving this up to you all as a yes or no option in our monthly poll. If you want us to be teleported back to theaters in 1996, vote "YES." And if you would prefer a different poll for the July movie podcast, then vote "NO" and we'll do a different poll with four choices after that.

So please, make your choice known before the poll closes on the night of June 7! Thanks as always for your continued support of our podcast, we hope you enjoy whatever wins!

It's gonna be uncomfortable for you guys to deal with a film that routinely uses a word that's been retroactively considered offensive to a certain group of people.

Interesting how the traditional Disney classics that seems to sell the most Disney merch (or at least best represented by my many trips to Disneyland) and are way more attractive towards the female Disney fans in my life (wife, nieces, cousins) keep getting out voted by some of the also rans of the classical era (the Herc and the Hunch)

Hey, I think they handled the Catholic church just fine before!
