Folks, I own all of the pre-Dookie CDs and they're currently inside a dusty album in my apartment.

I've always wondered if it's a joke that Cane's line of "Good Lord! That could start a fire." is meant to be the most old man reaction and wording to seeing a small flame. Just to play with the feelings of age throughout the episode.

About 10 years ago my mother passed away in the spring. Later that fall I started a new job and was making friends with a co-worker. We're bantering back and forth, and I whip out a titular "yo mamma" joke to which he responded very straight-faced "my mother is dead". I apologize and continue with "mine passed away too, this spring". He looked like a deer caught in the headlights and meekly replied "uh... my mom isn't really dead..." and looked away. "Oh..." *queue awkward silence*

How can we talk about Green Day and movie trailers without the most hilariously awful thing ever: “Brain Stew featuring Godzilla”. You can endlessly write your own jokes based on the title alone, but for me nothing beats hitting play for scant seconds before I’m dying laughing. I honestly don’t know if I’ve ever listened to more than half a minute of it, but those 30 seconds are quality comedy. Give it a try! https://youtu.be/AgEPJRWfP7c

I have a hard time hearing Jim Cummings ever since I found out he is a conservative wacko with credible me too allegations. He’s one of the best voice actors of all time, but I can’t overlook his problematic opinions. Great episode tho, and I completely agree with your thoughts on the Green Day song “Good Riddance”.

Good Riddance is my class song so I feel your guys pain

Cane is voiced by Tre Cool, the drummer, not Billie Joe. Shut down the podcast, fired for that blunder, et cetera et cetera

You mean the allegations his now ex wife made during their nasty divorce case, the case he ultimately won? Those allegations https://insidethemagic.net/2019/05/jim-cummings-accused-of-rape/

I don’t know man, it seems to fit a pattern. And on top of it all he is a crazy conservative of the worst kind. There is no doubting that

Also nothing was disproven, the judge found that there was abuse on “both sides”.

I saw the joke about Cane going "three down... one to go" less him being dumb and more him not remembering how many people are actually in Hank's group

When I first met who would soon become one of my best friends in middle school, I made a joke about his mom and he told me that his mom was dead. I replied laughing and joking like, "yeah right". Then he was like no seriously she died last year of cancer. But he was cool about it and laughed and now we're still good friends. And the life insurance joke is funny because Bill of all people doesn't have a need for life insurance cuz he has no dependents.
