Vote On The Spring 2021 Miniseries!! (Patreon)

We just concluded our most recent miniseries of Futurama's second season, and we can't wait to start preparing our next round of Patreon-exclusive podcasts! If you're a new subscriber here, you should know that your Talking Simpsons Network subscription offers you so much, including TWO Patreon-exclusive podcast miniseries each year! And we want to start recording our next miniseries for our $5+ subscribers ASAP!

So, with Futurama in our rearview (though with more possible in 2021*), we're giving four other series a chance to win our listener poll. Your picks included more Caped Crusader, a return of King of the Hill, as are our recent WAC favorite Duckman, and the MTV classic we covered before! The four choices are:

Batman: The Animated Series: Our Top 10 Favorite Episodes - We've covered a couple already, but we'd always love to cover 10 more of our favorite Batman toons!

Daria Season 1 - We covered the season finale a couple years ago, so we'd now do the other 12 eps from the misery chick's first year!

Duckman: Our Top 10 Favorite Episodes - We pick ten of our favorite episodes of Duckman and chat about the cantankerous duck dick!

King of the Hill Season 2 Part 1 (Episodes 1-11) - We'll head back to Arlen for more of the true-to-life domestic adventures in Texas!

All fantastic potential miniseries, so please be sure to pick your favorite and vote on it before the end of January 9 (Pacific Time)! You only get one vote, so make it count, then look forward to hearing this new miniseries debut exclusively on Patreon in April!

*PS - If you missed the announcement, our current Patreon pledge goal is if we reach $15,000 a month we'll start doing Talking Futurama as a monthly podcast only for Patrons in addition to our twice a year miniseries! So tell your friends to sign up soon if they haven't yet!!

I want KotH and I knew KotH was going to win, but I threw Duckman a vote because I know how much you guys want to cover that show.

I voted for BTAS, but I agree. Maybe we need to campaign to the Daria and Batman crews to prop up Duckman!

I really hope you guys do Daria or Duckman at some point. I will admit I’m a little disappointed to see King of the Hill win again as someone who only watched some of it and prefers Mike Judge’s other show Beavis and Butt-Head.

The good news is Futurama looks like it's going to be a regular monthly series soon, which will take it out of future miniseries polls.

So glad KOTH won!! I signed up for the talking Simpsons Patreon due to wanting to hear a well researched podcast on king of the hill.

Maybe if we knew which Batman going into it people would be more likely to vote for it. The two parters are great for instance but Feat of Clay part 1 is not one I would want to count towards the run unless it was in the same episode as part 2.
