Not sure why, but I really like the theme song ;)

My mom worked for Hanna-Barbera just ahead of the WB acquisition - ahead of that I can assure you HB wasn't trying to do anything Nick Toons-like. During a take your kids to school day they were all in on showing of The New Adventures of Johnny Quest. All of the What a Cartoon, before it would go on to define Cartoon Network, was used as throw away content to placate us during our pizza lunch.

First seasons of Dexter, Cow & Chicken, and Johnny Bravo were all Hanna-Barbera productions.

Those are the exact shows we watched during said pizza lunch - the vibe I got was that they were really unimportant compared to the new Johnny Quest. Every single artist we were taken to, each piece of swag, and even the theme of the event were all branded with Johnny Quest. A year later the What a Cartoon Shows had started to take off and the new Quest was dead in the water.
