I've never seen the show or been part of its fandom, so forgive me if this is well-trod territory, but something has been bothering me about the way Lupin is being pronounced. Words that are translated into English from Asian languages tend to be quite consistent in the pronunciation, so I figured it was supposed to be Lu-peen. But evidently the title character is supposed to be French, which is apparently where you're getting the Lu-PAHN pronunciation from (or that's how it's said in the show, perhaps). But as I'm sure Bob can attest with his French knowledge, that's not quite right, either. I don't know how to type it out here in a way that can be heard, but Google Translate pronounces it the way I, in my ignorance, would imagine it should be pronounced. Sorry for being pedantic, but hopefully I'm in good company and you guys appreciate that sort of thing now and again. :)
