Mission Hill rolls on with an in-depth parody of something that was once extremely relevant, but now only exists as a nostalgia piece: MTV's The Real World. Those of you who lived through the '90s were no doubt captivated by season upon season of aimless youths picked to live in a house and have their lives taped, and even Andy French succumbs to this siren song when the series starts taping in Mission Hill. Listen in as we explore how well this episode takes on the godfather of reality shows, and prepare to be shocked and horrified by how much The Real World knowledge occupies our brains. You've never heard two middle-aged men remember TV so vividly!

I'm a bit too young to have gotten into The Real World, but I am way deep into Terrace House. Apparently it's currently at "make up drama to fill out an episode" levels of trash, though it at least disguises itself well more or less. I will say that anyone into the Netflix series should look up the 100+ episode original series. Definitely feels a lot less scripted and is worth the time suck.

In the suburbs of Baltimore here and yes, people still steal car radios. Someone tried to steal the tires off my car in my driveway back in December. I unknowingly drove from Baltimore to Philly and back on loose wheels due to that! Thankfully nothing extra bad happened in all of that.
