Incredible episode guys. I'm Basque, and the pointed KKK-esque hoods in the wedding scene are called "capirotes" and are still seen in Spain especially around this time of year, for Holy Week parades around Easter. They date back to the inquisition, and are a sign of humiliation worn by sinners doing penance as a sign of shame. They were actually adopted by the KKK to mock Catholics

Hi Bob, curious to know what you meant by the end of history whe you mentioned briefly on the mission hill episode? I know its fukuyama, but it seems like you were referring about gentrification. Just wanted to know! Thanks

Fun episode. I had been a Lupin fan during the 2000s but hadn't heard of Castle of Cagliostro until the poll for April's WAC movie. I quickly watched it on Netflix and was surprised at how tame this version was. A gentleman Lupin was the last thing I expected but I quickly found myself settled in with the old gang. It's a distinctly different flavor but I must admit that I really enjoyed this adventure.

You'll need to be more specific because we have mentioned the end of history on a ton of the 1999/2000 stuff we've been doing (which has been a LOT lately).

Anime needs more kickass jazz openings. On the one hand, the current model of using the OP to sell music throws back to Looney Tunes, but on the other, its kikass jazz.
