How bad discrimination is is up to what happens. Like being called a moron compared to bastard. It's not better or worse because of gender or race.

Regarding the abstinence only education, I'd recommend Hank check out Dan Ariely's book Predictably Irrational (he has some others and documentary on netflix). He's a behavioral economist, which is a discipline that combines psychology and economics and shows us how pretty much every other school of economics is completely wrong, but they have a great study regarding abstinence only education in which they show why a "just say no" approach to anything isn't going to work. This is super broad strokes but when they give people a sexual deviancy survey after either being in a normal state or jacking off to the point right before an orgasm, a lot of people admit to being into beastiality. Basically the point is, in a normal emotional state, just say no works, but the second you get emotionally aroused at all your ready to fuck just about anything that moves (and several food items that dont) and you don't care. So you had better make sure people know how to wrap their dicks up before they get to this point.
