We're joined again by premium patron Andrew, and this time we're exploring the forgotten '80s toy series, Inhumanoids! Many of the same writers and artists of GI Joe and Transformers take the same approach to monsters from the center of the Earth. How did this collection of scientists and trees fighting a lava monster come to be? Why is it now left out of Hasbro movies? Listen now for the evil that lies within!

Another obscure show that I watched as a kid is called The Shapies about a group of 10 geometric shapes that form a rock band. It was made in Australia and aired on PBS Kids on the weekends of 2002. A total of 26 episodes plus a Christmas special was made. Only 2 DVD's were released containing 12 of the 13 episodes in Season 2. 10 episodes from Season 1 has thankfully resurfaced on the Internet archive albeit in poor quality. Perhaps a future What A Cartoon but I won't hold my breath!

I remember Inhumanoids well. Any cartoon with body horror lives rent free in my brain. Anyone remember Turbo Teen?

I ended up reading Flint Dille’s book because of this podcast. it was a light, fun, but informative read. Big recommend for lovers of genre media across the board.

Just getting around to this far too late and 1. Decoupage is a lousy name for a monster, and 2. My cat finds the noise of these clips very upsetting.
