Drug Dealing

If you quickly want to cheat a client onto your customer list without going through the regular Social Interactions route of assigning them you can now SHIFT+CLICK directly on the Sim you want to add.

From the Drugs menu you click Assign Roles and select the customer role you want to add to the Sim in question. 

Age Restricted Buying

If teens try to get a hold of harder drugs than Cannabis from NPC dealers they need to buy from dealers the same age as them selves. The option is still there on older NPC dealers but they simply won't deal those kind of drugs to adolescents. 

Phone Calls from Addicts

If you are just starting out as a dealer you can now receive phone calls from Sims addicted to the substance you are peddling as they get your Sims number from other Sims. This will allow you to quickly grow your customer base from scratch.

Get Dealers Number

If your Sim doesn't know any dealers but have some clubber friends they can now ask their clubber friends about their dealers phone number. 

A pre-requisite is that the clubber is good friends with your Sim. Meaning a friendship level above 50%.

Other

Raves have gotten a huge overhaul in this version and a lot of the various bugs and glitchy behavior should now be ironed out.

Bug Fixes

A bunch of bugs were also squashed in this release, all of these are also outlined in the changelog above. From interrupted interrogations in the detective career to attending raves never starting after the initial phone call.

I'd advice you to check out the change log to see all the improvements and fixes.

Venue List

To make sure this works you need to download the updated Basemental Drugs venue list provided in this post. I recommend installing this venue list in a separate folder directly in your Mods folder called: Basemental Venue List.

Choose one of these 2 installation methods. Not both.

Basemental Drugs Installer (WINDOWS ONLY)

• Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.*
• Download this Basemental Drugs.exe file.
• Run the Basemental Drugs.exe file.
• Choose which Optional Packages you want included.
• Delete your localthumbcache.package

* If you installed from the installer previously, you can delete the old files by launching the file called unins000.exe in your Basemental Drugs folder.

Basemental Drugs Zip (WINDOWS OR MAC)

• Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.
• Download the Basemental Drugs zip file.
• Unzip the Basemental Drugs zip file.
• Place the files in a folder titled Basemental Drugs in your Mods folder.
• Delete the Basemental Drugs zip file.
• Delete your localthumbcache.package
