Status (Patreon)

Hey Y'all, just wanted to throw some things out there.  First, damn, I hate breaks. After one day off I had so many ideas that I wanted to write up. But I forced myself to really give myself a few days to just breath. And it was so boring.

For the new Patrons, thanks for your support. For the old Patrons, thanks even more! I haven't talked about this much this month, but starting in 2019, I'll be writing full time.

I think that I will be aiming at 14 chapters a week, keeping a similar pace. It gives me enough time to think of ideas and outline, while providing the content you all enjoy. Plus, I'll have so much more time to edit and revise. So expect some improvements in grammar and vocabulary.

But I will also have 50 hours of a week that I didn't before, so I used my break to think about a few other projects that I will be doing some brainstorming on this month.

Overall, I think of my tasks in three categories: New Projects, Side Projects, and Editing.

Editing will be going back through the beginning of LoRG and fixing it up. I am so much better than I was two years ago when I started this... its actually painful to me that my intro to my writing is that stuff...

Also under editing, I have another project that I have about 40 chapters of that I might try and brush up and test here as something closer to a novel format. That was written before I even did TGT, so... yea, I'm not sure how pretty that will be.

Side Projects: Speaking of TGT, one of my side projects I'll be thinking about is the rewrite of TGT. It was always super fun to write, and I am so much better at balancing plot than I was, which was the real reason I was exhausted by the Day 50 finale.

My other side project is a parody story. Actually, I'll put up Chapter 1 of that when I finish this. It won't be something that I do regularly, but it will be easy to enjoy nonsense. If you want bad jokes, prepare yourself for So What If I Have a Henchman?!?

New Projects: This I'll have the least about, but just know that I am thinking about two different stories for next year. For these, I likely won't start in earnest for a while. But I want to start building the worlds in my mind now. Not that it means much, but I'll give you the names for them: Herocore and RISE.

In conclusion, I will attempt to finally get LoRG up to the goal of two a day, first and foremost. After that, I'll figure out how much time I have and fill that time up.
