We’re officially done with rope for a while… but at least Joobie likes her chair! In today’s Aftershow we cover:

- How we almost made cat scratch pants
- How heavy were the weights actually?
- Underestimated supplies
- Made us want new actual dining chairs… our old white cushioned ones have not held up
- Various methods we considered for the upper part of the chair (double wrap in twine, using sisal mat, etc)
- Worries about the process of this video being interesting since it was so repetitive
- What we would have done differently

Hope y’all have a great weekend!
- Katelyn

So instead of the weights counterbalancing your car, they counterbalance your cat. Just 1 letter difference.

It's interesting to see how you think about storytelling. Sometimes showing the failure IS the story (especially the fail-make-fail-make cycle). The montage here made sense. Although I feel like certain key decision points like how you decided to wrap the sisal (in which direction and why) and if you learned any tips/tricks to get the rope around tiny spindles in a tight space might also have been interesting. You had a possible science-adjacent moment with the weight and center of gravity and rope pull that you could have explained as well. :) Thanks for the great behind the scenes videos!
