Hey guys! Wanted to share what we'll be working on next - a tensegrity table! Above is a small scale model we printed just to play with it before we designed our own.

They work by being held up by the tension of the middle string and that tension is balanced by tension of strings around the outside. You may have seen these on Reddit or YouTube but we wanted to do our own spin on it.

Most often they're pretty small, even more often they look good in photos but are still VERY wobbly, and often if they ARE bigger and they ARE sturdier, they kinda lose that "floating" look because people use thick wire, chains, cord, etc.
So we HOPE to come up with something that will be side-table sized, not wobbly, use clear fishing line (just discovered what fluorocarbon is) and matches our aesthetic. Here's the 3D mockup (a la Evan) with some rainbow on top (a la me).

And look at the underside... so much hardware to make the magic happen. Wish us luck! <3 K

I know I’m late to posting to this thread but I just joined your Patreon and was wondering if you were going to post the blueprints so that we could make one too?
