Ok, Minecraft diamond pickaxe update! After attempt one, the glow powder settled in our resin cubes. Womp womp. BUT Evan tried another test where we mixed glow powder in evenly to the 3 colors we were combining (before we had just mixed it into one)...

... and this time it worked! There's some slight settling of the glow powder but it's way less noticeable. So now all our light diamond pieces are done!

We still have some slight color variation between them but now there's not a harsh line across the side of each.

Also we somehow accidentally made them almost perfectly match the number of light, medium, and slightly darker pixels of the actual diamond pickaxe so that's a happy accident!

Anyways, we'll continue to keep y'all posted! CANNOT WAIT TO HAVE OUR OWN DIAMOND PICKAXE!

Haha, I just asked you in your other post about the glow pigment sinking to the bottom. LOL. I tried heating the resin in my cups after I mixed my acrylic ink/powder pigments to get it to start to thicken up a bit, but I won't know for 2 days how my recent pieces turn out. The only good thing about the thinner resin is the lack of bubbles without a pressure pot when casting.
