Maker Faire NY! (Patreon)

Whew! I think this Maker Faire may have been our craziest yet. We got to meet/hang out with so many of you guys, so many other creators, and see so many awesome things. Our brains are still spinning, which might explain why this post is going to be more of a brain dump than anything coherent

We found a giant Totoro. It was awesome. It made us think of Adam Incognito and we wondered if he'll ever do that for Maker Faire like he does for Comic-Con.

Always great to see this guy! The Daft Punk helmet is awesome in person (and quite comfy, though maybe a little big on me... :P)

A full room of giant stained glass walls - just goes to show that if you repeat anything enough, it looks freaking awesome!!! Also we might wanna try doing some resin "stained glass" now that we've started playing with it (we'll give updates on that at some point, it's for an upcoming project!)

Also.... I GOT TO CRUSH A CAR WITH A GIANT ROBOT ARM! We are editing together a little mini video that we'll post on socials later :D It was so dang cool!!!! You put your forearm into a controller arm, and when you moved your fingers, wrist, arm, etc, the giant robot did what you did. I felt like an evil villain. It was cool! (that's me in the chair that's up in the air!)

Thanks to these guys we had 4 cameras in total recording it - Brandon (from Make Or Break) and Winston (Winston Makes) are awesome!

Also got to see the Maker Monster's awesome monster mask in person. So cool!

It was awesome meeting you guys too, chatting it up, taking photos. Fred, we don't know if you were serious when we talked about editing emojis over your face for this photo, but we did it just in case :P

Trying not to post repeats of photos that were already on Instagram so I'll end the photos here, although there were many more. We might edit together some random video clips too to share here and/or on socials. We opted not to do a vlog, we actually haven't done one since Maker Faire NY last year mainly because it didn't perform super well and it didn't allow us to be as in the moment when we're also thinking about filming the whole time. Maybe one day we'll start doing vlogs again (mayyyyyyybe) but for now just gonna soak up all the experiences as much as we can!
