Hey guys, we were really excited about this video not just because it was the fun playing with lasers but it was the first one we filmed and edited where we thought we have things figured out... after a year of filming making videos.

We're taking breaks from filming to edit our footage right away, which gives us a balanced day in terms of shop time and computer time, and we're pre-planning if a scene is going to be talking, montage, or some variation of those two instead of filming everything as if it could be either. Also editing footage we JUST shot lets us edit much faster.

It was really our visit with Alec that inspired some of these changes and we still have a lot to figure out but we're pretty excited.

Thanks again for your continued support!!!

How To 3D Print with LASERS aftershow

Loved watching you develop the candleholders and this printer looks sweet AF. The only thing keeping me from dumping my CR-10s and going SLA / DLP is the build plate. Just not big enough. My whole point in getting the CR-10s was to print bigger than my first printer. I don't know if I could go back. One thing's for sure, though. If I had a need to print a lot of small detailed pieces I'd be all over this. Who knew SLA would be so affordable? The Form 2 felt unattainable. This? Totally doable.

Totally understand! We're still gonna use the Taz6 for a lot of projects. But like you said, for small detailed stuff (or when you need a really nice surface finish...) the SLA is pretty awesome 👍😁
