First off - Welcome back! And sorry, this is probably going to be a little bit long :). The pace was nice, I really didn't notice until you called it out. I watched it again, and it was perfect pacing for this video. 2. I noticed that you have me listed twice in the Patreon shoutout - Not that I mind :) and hopefully I'm not paying double too. LOL (j/k) 3. I was thinking that maybe you can do a lift on CNC table and raise it to ceiling when not in use. Then you could have a nice heavy assembly table to do projects on. When you need the CNC you just lower it down to the assembly table and seat it in some channels for stability. Then you would have a nice heavy base too for the CNC. Also it would potentially raise it out of the dust and debris from the shop. :) 4. I would love to hear more about the Shapeoko. We have discussions about wanting to get something for the kids and I to learn on. Let me know if you are serious about letting it go please. 5. Clamping idea - So what about 3d Printing and expandable "L" bracket? I would think if you did the infill high enough, you would have enough resistance to hold things. I'm thinking something like an extending tripod, but with holes that you can screw into waste board inserts that you already have. You could also make them with joints to adjust to the funny shape pieces you have. As long as you can screw into an insert, you should have strong enough support for that. Now...if you decided to make and market that part, I would need a cut of that :) LOL. I didn't want to put that out on the public side. :)

Glad we got the pacing right! It was just a chill day, for some reason it seemed to fit this project. Ah oops! We'll fix the double listing for next time! Hmmmmm a CNC lift would be really cool... It's hard because our garage ceiling is pretty low and Evan is pretty tall. (and we are running out of ceiling space - lots of stuff mounted up there!). Where are you located? Evan has been talking to a friend at work who might want to buy it. Shipping it would be really really $$$. Ooooo the idea of 3D printing an expandable bracket could be really cool. Like if it telescoped out. I feel like something like that could be useful in so many applications. Do you have a 3D printer? Get that to out to market!!! Haha! -K

Haha! We try to keep video/project related stuff in the aftershows but all other stuff in mini vlogs for the under $5-patrons to be able to see but sometimes they all merge together ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
