I've always tried to treat the Patreon as a "bonus" content mill. Sure, I usually place previews on here, and sometimes completed comics and image sets will go up on here as soon as finished, and often before I get them up on Pixiv (or to a rarer extent, E-H) but I never want to "gate" anything. So in essense, with the exception of unused content and some bonuses, my stuff should always become public shortly after, or occasionally before, it is posted here.
My idea behind the Patreon is support for making all this time-sink content, and not as some lure or ploy to force people to pay for things they wouldn't be able to see otherwise. But I still think my rewards are kind of lame and nonsensical. At the most, I post textless panels/images as a bonus.

This brings me to my next question/conundrum.
I spend a LOT of time on comics. Like, most to all of it. Even my "quick ideas" get ballooned into multi-week projects because I get more and more obsessed with getting a look right. (included image very relevant)
Since it does take me so long and I do tend to sporadically hyperfocus, I feel like I let this Patreon run "content dry" for longer than I should.
One thing I've done when sharing large projects and big comics, is that I'll set up a Google Slide document and store all my WIP stuff there. This way if I'm commissioned or collaberating, the people in question can access something to give them an idea how things are coming along, while still being some generally low-res preview images that won't be as good to have as the finished full-render files.
My question is... should I just do this with ALL my comic projects? The WIP comic above is already nearing 30 panels which easily qualifies it for a titlecard. If I'm spending so much time on these, would you all prefer to ALSO have access to them? Mind you seeing a comic unfold as it's being made is a bit spoilery for some, and while feedback may be welcome, there's other times where the premise is done, and you won't necessarily be able to change any outcomes.
Of course the previous does NOT apply to commissioned comics, and those comics will remain exclusive to those who commissioned them. This would be more for Patrons looking fkr a more steady stream of content.
If that sounds cool, let me know. Also let me know if you think it would be better as a "tier-exclusive" instead of accessible to all patrons, in a means to better incentivize those who back this Patreon at a higher tier.

Also the above comic is/was called "Jin's Pet Peeve" but I think I might change it to "Jin meets a Size Queen".
