Happy Valentine's Day!
I did some research and was surprised to learn that in many countries it is common for men to give chocolate as a gift.
In Japan, it's common for young women to give them as love letters, for sociable women to give them out of obligation, and for unpopular men to receive them from their mothers, so these differences are interesting.
