Discord Vibe Poll (Please Read) (Patreon)

Hi everyone,

We have fun in Discord. It's a silly place. We've worked to make it as inclusive as possible, and I think, to an extent, we've done a great job. That said, there's always room for improvement.

The last time we talked about Discord it was about negativity and curbing that energy. I think we've done well on that. The This Sucks and This Rules channels are doing their job, and we haven't had any issues talking shit about people, which is great.

This time, we're talking about the level of blue language used throughout the Discord. Dumb stuff, playground stuff. Stuff that's woven itself into the fabric of the language and lore there, that's been there from almost the beginning.

It seems as if this may be driving people away, and I guess it's not worth it if that's the case. That said, I wanted to actually find out from you all what your view on it was. I can easily make a "no cum jokes" rule, but I guess like, I don't want to ruin the vibe if it's not a big deal. 

Discord is a self-selecting place of like-minded people, I get that. But it's also the sum of its parts, and there is strength in diversity. If that means less cum, so be it.
