Rings into Clouds is dead.

Long live Rings into Melotus Versio!

In case you're not up to speed, Melotus Versio is the new Versio effect module from Noise Engineering.  They call it a "Stereo-in, stereo-out grain delays, accompaniment, and transformation and DSP platform". I call it magic. It does everything I want a grain effect to do, effortlessly.

The thing about the Versio modules is that any of them can be flashed with any of the other ones. So right now I have my Ruina Versio (the awesome Doom distortion one) flashed with Melotus. This means I didn't have the panel layout with the controls for Melotus, but hell if that even mattered. I just turned up the blend and this shit spilled out.

This patch is accompanied by the IME Piston Honda going through the XAOC Zagrzeb filter into Noise Engineering's Imitor Versio, and the Korg Arp 2600M.

The reason I'm sharing this with you here is that the embargo on the Arp 2600M isn't up yet, but I *really* wanted to share this with you, so please do not share around until it goes public on my second channel. I'll have a big ARP2600M video on my main channel when the embargo lifts.

Second channel, you may be asking? Yes. For ambient, extended demos, and no-talking walkthroughs. You can check it here!

This is rad. Great noises coming out of this. Also excited to see what pops up on the new ambient channel!

How do you not lose all the hours in the day just sitting there playing and listening? I would be gone forever lol.

I mean one or the goals these patches is something that just be left on and chill to. I do honestly just leave something on and let it vibe if it's delicious enough.
