EDIT: Thank you all for your fantastic ideas. I've got some stuff to work on from this. The list of stuff I plan on working on is:

A new series called the WWWWW of effects. This will cover the who, what, when, where, why of different effects and ways to use them. It will be part history, part applied theory.

A way to talk about melodies that I feel comfortable about. It's one of those things I've developed over a long time and therefore it's hard to talk about, like most concepts that are so baked into you via organic learning that you don't know how you got there. But I want to.

A video or series on how to make synth sounds you hear. This will be geared towards basics: how to identify what makes a synth sound tick and what to do with it.

A video on the end-to-end recording workflow. Cameras, setup, editing, etc.

I really love the concept of doing genre focus stuff, but I've always not done it because of copyright. People want to learn how to do the stuff they hear on Spotify or Beatport. Those tracks are in content ID. I don't think I can even reference a portion of them without getting my video demonetized. If you have suggestions about how to deal with this, let me know.

Thanks again,

-jeremy

Original post:

Feeling a bit uninspired with video ideas.

Performance is fun but one sided. Eurorack is cool but exclusionary in some ways. OP-1 videos are just something I can't bring myself to do.

I like teaching but I've been doing so much of it I have lost perspective on what good teaching videos might even be.

What are some topics you might be interested in seeing covered on the channel?

Thank you for your halp. You are the best.

Oooooh, okay the synth sounds breakdown video is something I’m gonna look forward to... These are all awesome ideas, honestly. Can’t wait to see what becomes of them.
