Really love how you took time to answer each question in detail, including mine. I actually used "push" in quotes because it's more of a self-analyzing thing. Music making is still in a zone where I have to "push" myself into. The barrier of entry or just getting started with music is just so high compared to my other hobbies (gaming, writing). All the technical and personal hurdles to overcome can be a huge block that doesn't even get me started in a weekend after a long week of work. So the "little goals to set" advice you gave was actually a really good one. Trying to focus on a topic or certain piece of gear at a time really helped to see some actual progress instead of being intimidated by the whole ordeal and opt for "easier" hobbies instead.

If you're feeling anxious about making music, think about breaking it up into smaller parts and find something easy and fun you can get into. Not every session is going to be a banger, but we can build momentum.

I'm a week late in watching this, but it was just wonderful. Your advice is just so great and comes from a place of compassion and experience. Just about every point had a point of resonance with something I've dealt with, even with this being an amazingly productive year of music for me. Anyway, thanks for being awesome.
