A while ago Erica Synths sent me the Pico System III to do a video on, and it was good, and I liked it. It started me down my modular route, and it's a great all in one starter system.

I started getting more interested in modules I could add, and I really liked the idea of their Pico Drums 2, a two-trigger sampler. I couldn't find it for sale, so I asked them about it, and they asked if I wanted one to do a video on. I said yeah, baby.

Well, they probably need to rename their shit, because what I got was the Pico Drum2, a single voice percussion synth with a bunch of modes. I was like, ok, well, that's fine. What can I do with it?

Here's a little video running it through some paces. It's fun. Not earth-shattering, but pretty good for a little 3hp drum module.

Hermod is doing clock, sending gate to the 0-Coast for kick, and clock to Pam's New Workout. Pam's, which is the best module in the world, is sending out triggers and modulation to the Pico and to Monsoon, which is a granular processor (clone of the famous Clouds). Streams is doing some sidechaining, and the Pico System III is doing basslines and FM synth top stuff.

Wow, that's some rapid expansion. You might consider turning your module acquisition rate from exponential to logarithmic.

My gear addiction is tolerated by my family, but they know that if I ever say "I'm thinking of getting into modular" they need to cut me off.
