Saturday's chapter and other updates (Patreon)

Hello and good evening,

I have been dealing with a family emergency for a couple of days and I'm not confident that I'll be able to have the next chapter in a finalized form by tomorrow. I'm working when I can, but I also don't want to rush to get something out if I can't give it the attention it deserves. If I can't get it out tomorrow, I'll aim to have an extra upload day next week.

Tangentially, upload times have been a bit sporadic lately, which I know can be annoying. My target is to have a chapter published by 8:33 am Eastern since that's when chapters go up on RR. I usually get them out ahead of that target, but this past month has been a series of peaks and valleys that have disrupted my rhythm. I've been dealing with some chronic health issues (boo), I got married (yay), day job has gotten more demanding (neutral react), and now have the present difficulties going on. Doing my best to get back in the swing and get ahead of things. I do not plan on continuing to drop chapters at random times during upload days. I appreciate everyone's patience while I get everything situated.

Tangentially relatedly, I am heading out of the country for the first 2 weeks of June. I'll probably be making a dedicated post about this sometime in the next week or two, depending on how things are going with the chapters. My goal is to maintain the upload schedule, but based on the recent disruptions I am not sure that is realistic. If it turns out I am unable to keep things running, I'm thinking I will pause the subs (need to figure out how that works, ha).
