This was how I, admittedly, expected it to go.

But! I was very interested in the other results - namely that Savannah slid in second place and Athena in third! (that, admittedly, I did not see coming! But I love it)

Regarding Athena's story -

Starting in her early 20's as a cam-girl, Athena has worked her way through the adult entertainment industry to the point of starting her own site - Aphrodite - several years ago. She's spent her time and energy into owning herself and her sexuality, and moving that energy outward, trying to remove stigmas around sex work. She was determined to start Aphrodite as a female-led, safe place for women in the adult industry.

She would also star in - what I imagine will be - my most sex-forward story...

Regarding Savannah -

Born and raised in the idyllic (to her) Faircombe, to the even more idyllic Vandenberg family (after all - Taylor is her her older sister, and is essentially a rockstar to her, growing up!) - Savannah's life looked very idyllic, itself.

Married to her high school sweetheart. Culinary and pastry training in France. Opening her own bakery... what more could she ask for?

Unfortunately, what she wanted was to grow her family, which didn't seem to be in the cards. And the years of trying, unsuccessfully, was what ended her marriage.

She'd never in a million years have believed she'd be where she is during her story - a single mom in her mid-thirties, falling in love with Marisa MacDonald...

And then we have Regan -

Regan was born in suburban Massachusetts, and lived ~an hour outside of Boston, until she was 7, when her father started to work for Jack Spencer. Thus, resulting in the move that changed Regan's life - moving to the same school district as Sutton.

Regan's parents very much do not understand her - they are both very buttoned-up, quiet, and don't share the same spontaneity and sense of humor as their daughter. Meeting Sutton - and the Spencer family - changed Regan's outlook on life, opening up her world and making her feel a part of something much more like herself.

As an adult, Regan still internally struggles with her relationship with her parents, and feeling like a disappointment to them.

But the thing about Regan is that she doesn't allow those struggles to hold her back... as seen in Those Who Wait.

This dynamic personality has put her diametrically opposed to Emma Bordeaux since the moment they met. Which, contrary to popular belief, was actually independently of Sutton - the bonus scene attached below!
