What do you think of the above tables? Do they make sense, and do they give you a better feel for understanding the Game system?

It's fine, I guess. Why cap it to begin with though? The requirements already scale , they basically have to seek greater challenges to go past a certain point. Implied limits seem to be how the masses are controlled to curb challenges to their power base. But your call. You might even create some obscured way to unlock extra attributes and such that most would not consider trying because of the difficulty.

I assume you're referring to the skills being capped by attributes? That's so you don't get a level 1 player with say longsword skill=100. Forces investment in particular attributes too.

I’m confused on the 5 pt attribute cost— might be misremembering but does that mean it costs 5 pts to raise an attribute by 1?

No. It means a tier 2 ability occupies 5 attribute slots. I will clarify the wording. Maybe change the title of the column to Attribute Slots required.
