Hi all,

This is the draft art for the next book in the Grand Game series. I'm not quite convinced by the cover. Any comments/feedback to improve it are welcome.

Note, the above artwork is still B&W and needs to be colored.

Thanks for all the comments. Very helpful! As for release... i've been battling with my hands, so have been forced to dictate. As of right now, i'm dictating the last few chapters of book 3. Release date will be dependent on how fast i can transcribe, edit, proof.

Late to the party. Overall I like the feel of the cover. The swords are in all covers quite different length. Book 1: roughly hand to shoulder. Book 2: Blade goes only from hand to elbow. (could have been longer they would qualify more as long daggers) Book 3: The length here is again more like the first. The fixation of the swords is also slightly "flimsy". The X leather strap does not look to me like it could hold two blades. https://www.kultofathena.com/product/rfb-double-sword-back-harness-black/ I know that reference has the handles up but it would create some kind of teeth style :) Regarding the issue with the arm length to pull the swords out. If the harness had a quick release mechanism then the arm length would be less of an issue (I am not an expert in this regard). Does not solve the gravity part.
