New Preview tier release!

This week has been an interesting endeavor. At first I took stock of all the remaining Alex pregnancy stuff... made a list and everything. As it turns out though I might have missed a few things. Whole lot of scenes I sat down to spruce up with some pregnancy content only to find that they were already done. Which is good but it interrupts my stride and chews up time unnecessarily... it makes me frumple.

When I did get down to it, it was time for a bit of a rework of Alex in the shower. A good place to insert some of yourself into Alex.

Then there was a bunch of cleanup. given that pregnancy is essentially a full replacement corruption, it will always necessitate cleanup. I think now got all of it and Alex now no longer appears  unpregnant when she is pregnant... except for the warning that it's not complete now I think about it.

But part of this is including just being able to chat with Alex during the BBQ and when she leaves. Even threw in a new mail... then I realised that it overlapped entirely with another mail... I rejiggered their conditions so it's better now.

And Alex's pregnancy is actually frighteningly close to done... We are putting together a replacement for the hottub scene and then all the necessary scenes are done! I don't think I'll call the corruption level there though. I'll have a think and see if I can't dream up a scene that is better than just "necessary".

After that there is going to be some love for Jenny. She's a bit of an interesting case in that her corruption level is also just quietly done. It definitely deserves a look through, but a lot of stuff hangs off her existing corruption levels. The transition scene has also just been in the game for quite some time.

It's almost time for voting again even! I'm really digging the progress of late, even the weeks where progress is slow feel like they have purpose and are working towards something.

For story time this week, please enjoy this Sausage Roll recipe:

Nunu's Jerk Flavoured Sausage Rolls

The basic premise that this is a simple recipe, spiced up by the addition of copious amounts of jerk seasoning. You want to use a reasonably fatty mince as when you cook them, the fat renders out and effectively forms a gravy that seeps into the pastry.

Ingredients, Dry Jerk Seasoning:
- 1 part ground Allspice
- 1 part Chilli Powder
- 1/2 part ground Black Pepper
- 1/2 part ground Nutmeg
- 1/4 part ground Cinnamon
- 1/8 part Garlic Powder
- 3 parts Salt
- 3 parts Onion Powder

Instructions, Dry Jerk Seasoning:
- Everything is a powder, mix it together and it's done.
I used parts because the amount doesn't really matter. There is roughly ten parts so if you use teaspoons you will get enough to make 1.5 batches of the sausage rolls.
Of course these aren't sold in teaspoons... Anyway, in a sealed container it will store roughly forever.

Ingredients, Sausage Rolls:
- 2lbs / 1kg Pork(70%) & Beef(30%) Mince, 15% fat (This comes prepackaged where I'm from, feel free to mix it up however you want)
- 3 tablespoons Panko Breadcrumbs
- 1 + 1 Large Eggs (1 for the meat, 1 for an eggwash)
- 2 tablespoons Dry Jerk Seasoning (More if you feel like it, I heap my tablespoons pretty high here)
- 6 sheets Puff Pastry

Instructions, Sausage Rolls:
- Preheat oven to about 180c / 360f and prepare a baking tray with baking paper that will fit 6 sausage rolls as long as your sheets of pastry
- Mix together everything thoroughly (Except the one egg for the eggwash and the pastry obviously)
- Lay your pastry sheets out until they are floppy enough to roll without breaking (however if you leave them out too long, they will no longer puff)
- Roll the meat into 2-3cm diameter logs and put it on the pastry
- Roll the pastry over so that you have a complete sausage roll, with two layers of pastry on the bottom
- Trim excess pastry and flatten the sausage roll until it's a bit over half as tall as it is wide (if the sausage roll is too cylindrical, the pastry will fall off it easier)
- Segment the sausage rolls into short lengths by pressing into them with the back of a butter knife, about 1cm deep should do. Remember, press, not cut.
- Beat your remaining egg in a cup, then paint the top of the sausage rolls with it. If you don't have a brush, just use your finger and do your best.
- Cook in oven for at least 30 minutes or until you like how the pastry looks.

These have been pretty popular round here. Also they are entirely unrelated to me burning my hand. Also my hand is back to 100% now, well 99.9%. My pinky still has a little tender spot.
