Dev Log 0.33a: Seduction and Stalkers (Patreon)

A nice quiet week. Really, something I could use after the past few scrambles. Sure they are super productive but sometimes you've just got to calm down.

That being said it's still chock full of stuff y'all are after.

First of all... you can now give Lina the milk. This will have the intended effects, and like Alex, Lina will say goodbye in a slightly different fashion if you've done both options for that. She might even send you a mail about it.

But the bulk of the content today is across two scenes. The first of these, Lina will try to spy on Lin and Carla at the beach, you are invited. You might not see much, but that doesn't mean nothing happens.

Then, she also can get caught spying at the lake on midnight Sunday. Really, this ends up very cute. Nothing super fancy but I had a lot of fun doing it.

There are bits and pieces of other scenes in the code, but that was when I thought I would push myself to fit in more than I'm capable of. A lot of the start of this week got taken up with medical checks (Despite a small scare, I'm healthier than I have any right to be, but we check so small things don't become big things).

Plus, bug fixing from the previous release took a lot of time. I've been making a really great pace recently and it's tempting to always try and meet that quantity level. But that leads to a lack of quality control. I'm fine with a couple of minor bugs making it through, but when I push myself for weeks after weeks, eventually one of those is going to not meet the ol' quality bar. Sure I patch fast and re-upload... but better than that is just making it right the first time. Plus it's less stressful for everyone, especially me!

So we're going to have one more week of Lina, and leaving that scene to percolate is already having me come up with such better ideas.

Theoretically it's also coming up to my next week off after three months. Don't think I'll take it though, I'd just rather be building Cabin than anything else! Nice to know I have the option.
