I want to convey a small New Year's message to everyone.

During this year I was able to achieve good results, many people like what I draw, and I have the opportunity to learn new software in order to build up my skills, which can be useful in other projects. I am grateful to all of you for this opportunity.

However, none of this is important compared to what is happening around and the worst thing is that we start 2023 with the same problems that started this year.

I cannot congratulate you on a Happy New Year, because it will not be like that. Thousands of people will die, there will be grief in thousands of families, and even more people will lose something because of the consequences.

However, I have something important to tell you. Appreciate what you have, because now so many are losing everything. Congratulate those with whom you have not communicated for many years. Come and hug those you love. Or even just dust off the things you hold dear.

We live in difficult times that will have consequences for years to come, but it is in such moments that you can become stronger and better.

Ukraine is in an incredibly difficult struggle just for its right to exist. You are right that a huge number of people will lose loved ones and possessions while this war continues. It is important that no one forgets the human cost, because each person who loses family or friends to the violence will feel a deep and profound pain that, while similar, is never exactly the same. In this dark time, I am glad that you are able to take a moment and see the small victories like those you mention. More fans, better skills, and more knowledge are small victories against those that wish to disrupt your life. In a world of convenience, it is far too easy to forget that many of the things we see and use and love every day can be taken away. Like you say, it is good to appreciate people and things while you have them. I know the New Year will start as difficult as the old one ended, but I sincerely hope things improve in Ukraine and around the world before the next one arrives. Thank you for your eloquent and powerful words.
