Content

Winner of last week's poll was: 🏆 Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988)

Vote for as many as you like! This helps me know how much interest there is in each movie. Movies not chosen may be back on future polls or watched later in schedule if there is enough interest :)

I'm shaking my head at the fact that Panic Room has more votes than Drive. I found the former to be, to put it kindly, a pretty bland movie.

Who Are These People

I'm surprised by some poll results too. I wonder if it's due to something like Amazon Prime or Netflix getting one studio's catalogue cheaper, so more people have seen the mediocre 'Panic Room' (76% on rottentomatoes) because it was more accessible than 'Drive' (93%) and they vote for what they know. Update: I just checked both on Amazon Prime and 'Panic Room' only has 2,500 reviews while 'Drive' has 9,600 (and, incidentally, a higher star rating), suggesting that more people have seen it and liked it better. So I guess that tanks that theory.

Has to be Gran Torino for me.
