Some things, once you do, they can never be undone.

Had to watch this one right away to find out if Black Mamba (who's name is finally revealed!) gets her revenge. Once again the music was amazing, the action was stylish, the deaths were gruesome, but we also had a nice quiet ending which surprised me. I liked both of these sooo much! I know they must pay a lot of homage to other movies Tarantino loved, feel free to let me know some references!

Despite shot and originally intended to be one movie, I always found it interesting how different styles the two volumes ended up. After starting to edit, Tarantino realized he won't be able to cut the movie to a sensible runtime unless sacrificing several important scenes. It was the producer, infamous Harvey Weinstein, who suggested splitting it into two movies. One key difference this introduced was the cliffhanger added to the ending of volume one: "Is she aware her daughter is still alive?". Tarantino's original plan was to reveal this twist only at the end of the story when B sees BB for the first time. Tarantino prepared a combined cut after the two volumes have been released, titled "Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair". But this print only ever played a couple of times in a few theaters. It is mostly the combination of the two volumes with some added gore and the whole House of Blue Leaves battle in color, both probably being a victim of getting an R rating from MPAA instead of X. Also, the aforementioned line is removed and there is an intermission between the two volumes. Tarantino also talked about creating an extended anime sequence, which is not included in this cut afaik. Some Samuel L Jackson recommendations: - THE HATEFUL EIGHT (2015): another Tarantino with some slightly mixed reviews, but its music is composed by Ennio Morricone - THE NEGOTIATOR (1998): a good, any maybe somewhat forgotten crime/thriller

As far as Tarantino recommendations go, you really can't go wrong with any of his movies. But, I'd add in a nod for "From Dusk Till Dawn" which he did NOT direct, but did co-write.
