Who has a safety deposit box full of money and six passports and a gun?

Ooooh I love a good mystery with multiple identities, going on the run + a kiss at the end. Really liked Matt Damon in this one + definitely want to check out the second Bourne movie if you guys are interested?

Thanks for hanging out with me for this one! 😊

Fun reaction. :)

Good movie and good reaction.

Absolutely interested. The first three movies are some of the best action movies .. period.

Daryl

Oh SO looking forward to this, been a while since I did a rewatch. Yes very interested in you completing the trilogy.

MattN

Yay! I loved this! Like Daryl, I haven't seen this movie in a while... probably over ten years! So, it was really nice jumping back into it. This movie definitely reminds me of early 2000s action films so it was cool seeing this style of action again. I love Jen's love of love! Bourne just beat up some cops and totally trashed an embassy, but Jen is still yelling that he brings the girl along :D Great react Jen and I do hope you complete the trilogy!!

Sing with me... "Oh baby, oh baby Then it fell apart, it fell apart" Had to pause your after thoughts to appreciate that. It's been too long! One of my favourite credit tracks of all time. Oh this film brings back memories of my first time buying and watching this movie. I still vividly remember buying it 20 years ago. This one had skipped past me in the cinema. I was in a branch of Woolworths (doesn't exist any more ☹) in my home town in the VHS section. The packaging was just so unusually bold. It had this rich blue on the front and the side casing trim was bright bright yellow. It might as well jumped off the shelf at me. Picked it up and had a read. Hmmmm Matt Damon in an action movie... 🤔 Alright yeah why not, let's give this a go as you've tried so hard in the promotional packaging. 🤣 That little car, in one of my fav car chase sequences in modern history; is the British classic Mini Cooper. (Before BMW brought it.) (Felt a little hurt on ya persistent thoughts that they should ditch it for another car. 😜 Such a classic car in film made me think of •The Italian Job (1969) Which is a must see classic. I really like how this film ends. Although there are still many unanswered questions. It feels just wrapped up enough, that if they hadn't made any more. I'd have been fine with that. Now on to your after thoughts...

One of my favorite films so well done. I don't usually watch the full length version and just wait for the YouTube version. but I woke up extra early and figured what the hell give it a shot, I appreciate your countdown to starting the movie. pausing and restarting to go pee cause coffee lol. was tricky but it was enjoyable to see your full reaction. thanks

Great reaction Jen! Awesome franchise, you should definitely continue on. There are actually five films within the Bourne series (based on novels, by the way). The original trilogy (Identity, Supremacy and Ultimatum) all star Matt Damon and are direct continuations of the previous film. I'd argue the first one is the most well rounded of all the films but the second and third are both fantastic and are must watches. The fourth film, The Bourne Legacy, is actually a spin-off and stars Jeremy Renner as a different agent within the Treadstone program. The story is connected to Jason Bourne's story but Matt Damon doesn't actually appear in the film. It's not as good as the original trilogy but it's still a solid action movie and if you like Renner, especially his MCU/Hawkeye roles then I'd say you'd definitely like this one too. The fifth film is simply called Jason Bourne and it brings back Matt Damon to the role. I actually have not seen this one yet so I cannot comment on it. I know it wasn't as well received as the first three but I suspect it's still a decent flick.

Uuuh, the audio is not good in this one. Distorted due to overmodulation. Recording volume meter probably showed all red. It's watchable though. :) It's just one of those things to keep an eye out for next time. :)

jenmurray

Dang, really hard to get this right. Been getting messages lately asking me to turn up volume. Will turn down some & re post asap. Thanks for letting me know!!

RX2904

Yep, I'd rather turn up the volume on my end and have a clear audio. In comparison to too high, low volume is always better. If you can adjust it manually -6 db is a good volume setting for recording. I'm podcasting and I know the urge to turn up the volume full throttle, but audio don't work like that. ;-) Thank you for your reaction, Jen! Love your channel and it's worth the money.

Great trilogy, well worth watching the first 3.

My problem with the fifth film is that it feels like a retread (no pun intended) didn’t really add anything. The fourth film is fine but feels like an experiment to see if they could continue without Matt Damon. I think the original trilogy is super solid though and so worth watching.
