✨This was a request from my Top Tier patron Todd - Thank you Todd! ✨

They call this the New World. It's not. It's the same as the old. But we have the chance to build a new world. A world where all men are created equal under God.

Really glad to have seen this one in time for American Independence Day! This was a grand historical epic but it also had some smaller moments that were touching and funny (love that rocking chair moment).

Next weekend is the holiday weekend (here in Canada too!) so an early Happy 4th of July to all the Americans! *fireworks* (& Happy Canada Day on July 1st to all the Canadians!)

Thank you to everyone for hanging out + watching with me!

⭐ Special thanks to Producers: MattN, Todd Preble, CBonius, Tyler Gorash, Ed Dunn, Incognito, John Walters, JT, Noby + those who wish to remain uncredited :)

I had a dream once that society became like the world in the Mad Max films, except it wasn't Australians roaming around on motorcycles, it was the Canadians being nice to everyone.

From a historical accuracy standpoint this movie leaves a lot to be desired but it's still a really fun and well made film. Mel Gibson is fantastic as always and Jason Isaacs is such an under appreciated actor. He might be he best badie actor of all time. The scene between him and Mel at the fort where Mel tells him he's going to kill him before the end of the war is magical - and also mostly ad-libbed by the two actors. Fun fact, Chris Cooper, the actor who played Col. Harry Burwell, lives in my town, I see him at the grocery store and the dump from time to time.

Oh that's cool! Oh that's interesting they ad libbed that scene! Jason Isaacs plays a very good villain for sure 👍

I don’t know why but it always makes me laugh when he says “tell me about Ohio”.
