Oh my, Roberta's letter has been revealed at last, and in my opinion, it isn't pretty.

Here's what it said:

"I just want you to remember I will always love you and I know you will always love me. You are my boy. Nothing can make me stop loving you, nothing can or ever will divide us no matter what we do, or where we go or what we say- we will always love each other. If you're in jail I will bake a cake and put a file in it. If you need to dispose of a body I will show up with a shovel and garbage bags. If you fly to the moon I will be watching the skies for your re-entry. If you say you hate my guts, I'll get new guts. Remember that love is a verb not a noun. It's not a thing it's not words. It is actions. Watch people's actions to know if they love you- not their words.

Therefore I am certain that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor the ruling spirits, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers from above, nor powers from below, nothing in the entire created world can separate our love. Neither hostile powers nor messengers or heaven nor monarchs of earth. Nothing has the power to separate us - Romans 8:38 (extended version). "nothing can separate us. not hatred, not hunger, not threats, not backstabbing, not even sin, not the unthinkable, or thinkable can get between us. Not time, not miles and miles and miles ~

I understand what she was trying to do... but saying things like: shovel, trash bags, new guts, a file in a cake, jail and such things isn't an expression of love, it's an expression of an attachment issue, a bit of stalking/coercive control vibes, and sounds a little mafioso (which was speculated, haha, that you family is part of the mafia in New York).

To me, it's also overbearing in the sense that he was a guy off on a trip with his fiancé and she was jealous, possessive, and trying to say something like "girlfriends come and go but I will always be here"... it's emasculating... it's UNFREEDOM, and I think if Brian was perhaps the type to take things literally (speculation), it's dangerous to plant this seed. She wasn't doing him any favors in expressing her "love" for him this way. He was an adult, he was a man (baby boi because of this overcoddling though, but you know what I mean)... and he was with a stunning lady on an exciting journey to start a life with HER. When Roberta tries to CONVINCE him what love is (why is she doing this at this age?), it's in my opinion PURE MANIPULATION as she tries to point out that the one who has captured his heart doesn't love him, based on what Roberta is telling him love is.

Okay, Roberta, so what is love? To be smothered by your mother? To never have a voice or be able to separate from you if your son wants to (because she expresses it as NOTHING having the power to separate them). Is it not adulthood? Boundaries? Choice? Expression? Does it not include anyone else? Do you OWN him? Is he your POSSESSION? He won't even need to call her "if he kills someone" - she scratched out I will BRING and said I WILL SHOW UP. Meaning, don't worry, no matter what you say, I will be there.

Some will come to her defense. I stand firm that this is unhealthy, toxic, overbearing, controlling, manipulative, and DARK.

Here's here statement since the letter has been released:

"The letter to Brian was written prior to Gabby and Brian leaving my home for their trip. Previously, I submitted an affidavit to the court for very limited purposes but that is not the whole story. Now that the letter has been shared, I ask that you read it in its entirety, and understand that the letter contains other phrases besides those highlighted by Pat Reilly for sensationalism and to bolster his case. I truly loved my son, and simply wanted to convey to him how much he meant to me and how much I loved him. I am sure people use phrases all the time to express to their loved ones the depths of their love. Although I chose words that I thought would be impactful with Brian given our relationship, the letter was in no way related to Gabby. Please read the entire letter before you believe the hype put out by Pat Reilly."

Notice how she says MY HOME, not our home.

Oh, Roberta, we have read it in its entirety. When she says "the letter contains other phrases", that excuse just doesn't fly. If someone wrote you a letter and said "I will kill you if you leave me, but I love you and there's chocolates in the kitchen for you", does the first phrase's threat dissolve because the rest of the sentence was manipulative? No. This letter is a RED FLAG and I'd love to know more about Roberta's life, what she has been through, if her dad ever went to Walmart for garbage bags, shovels, etc. , or where this line of thinking comes from.

When she says "I'm sure people use phrases all the time to express to their loved ones the depths of their love"... um, sure, perhaps with less sinister, toxic, boundary-less expression. She is asking this almost as if to say, oh, is this not normal. And I'd say NO, ROBERTA, IT ISN'T.

For me what's most telling is when she says "I chose words that I thought would be impactful with Brian given our relationship" : this right here indicates that she knows that her words would be impactful, that she has manipulated him this way all her life (coercive control), and that no one would ever truly take her baby boi from her. (ew). Also, the bird with "remember" looks a lot like one of his Chuck Palahniuk book covers; even that is a subtle manipulation. She is "speaking his language" to try to regain full control of her BOY (who was a MAN, and I don't think calling him a boy at that age did him any favors, "my son" would've been just fine, right?!).

I think Karien will have to weigh in on this letter too (see my 2nd channel to meet Karien):  https://www.youtube.com/@SnarkyG

I will be making a video on this! I've had a very busy week and am catching up on everything, brb! hehe.

Love,

Gisela.
