Keukenhof Pics for You! (Patreon)
Content
I finally went to Keukenhof, which is a garden in the Netherlands famous for its Spring flower shows and magnificent displays, including colorful layouts of blooming tulips, lots of water fountains and a windmill!
It's known as "The Garden of Europe" and many international tourists (44 million) travel here to see it; it's only open for 8 weeks and it's busy, but so spacious that it doesn't feel overcrowded.
Today I took a 2 hour journey there by train and bus... And walked around smelling all the flowers, drinking coffee and I had some waffle time (a stroopwafel haha). And look! They have a Grizzly statue there for us!
Bucket list item ticked off the list. When we first moved here, COVID hit within a few weeks and we were on lockdown for 2 years, which meant Keukenhof could only be seen virtually! Since then, I've been meaning to go and finally did!
Have you ever been?
Do you have any springtime things in your area?
Wishing you a lovely Tuesday ahead!
Love,
Gisela.
