Sherri Papini is a California woman who faked her own kidnapping in November 2016 after going for a run. Her husband reported her missing when he realized that she had not collected their children from daycare.

Three weeks later on Thanksgiving, Sherri lay on the side of the road and waited to be found, telling her family and the world that she has been kidnapped at gunpoint by two Hispanic women.

A manhunt for the women ensued, but the FBI found that Sherri had been staying at an ex-boyfriend's house the entire time she was gone. She had also caused her own injuries, which she was flaunting as proof of her abduction. Also: she had been secretly texting her ex since 2015 using "burner phones" as the FBI put it... that's embarrassing because now we know she was just enjoying the fantasy of it all with 'sexy exxy' while her husband, children, parents, and the world frantically looked for her. This was a "hot" kidnapping fantasy affair that she played out on the world's stage and now she wants pity because she had a rough past? Pah-leeez.

Sherri has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for the hoax- do you also feel that the sentence should be longer? She lied to the FBI and wasted so many resources in her case, one that she created in her own mind. She could've faced 25 years in prison, so 18 months is really nothing in the big picture.

My message to Sherri: Put the 50 Shades of Grey book down.

Hope you enjoyed today's podcast episode!

Have a great day,

Love,

Gisela.

New member here, and really glad to join you all... Your mic sounds great, Ms G. I agree, she should serve a longer spell in prison, but she also needs psychotherapy to deal with whatever is going on in her life.
