I have a cat wheel also, two of my cats used it daily, they love it. I also have a video of my puppy using it… so cute

No, i put them on it and slowly turned the wheel so they are walking with it, i also used a laser pointer or feather toy right in front of them to chase they caught on quickly. My youngest one uses it daily and while i sleep, probably to burn off energy. You might also try holding one up so their feet are touching it, while slowly moving the wheel, so they make that connection. But let them get used to seeing the wheel in place first for a while before you try anything, cats are tricky, good luck
