I'm attaching the State's sentencing memorandum for you if you want to read all 94 pages. Basically, they're asking for 56 years to life (he is already serving up to 60 years for his weapons charges).

His defense attorney did a poor job during sentencing compared to her performance during the trial, but I imagine she was sick of this loser. Of course, Montgomery didn't make a statement, not because he didn't do the crime, but he has no remorse. And his wife/girlfriend's statement, what a whack job! Her statement ignored the true victim and was, "me, me, me". What's truly twisted is she would go back to Montgomery in a heartbeat. She should have received a much longer sentence.
