Hey everyone, just checking in with a status update. I'm still not having any luck finishing Becoming Katelyn in a way that makes me happy. I just few bleh about the whole thing. It doesn't make any sense to me: a Werewoman gender bending adventure including cosplay is a really fun idea, but every time I get close to finishing it the story just starts to come apart on me. It's not fun enough, or not sexy enough, or there are plot holes... So, rather than beat my head on a rock about it all day every day, I've started alternating between working on that and working on two other books at the same time. These are all full-length novels, so it's taking a bit longer to finish them than normal, which is why I've been so quiet lately.

The first of the two additional books should make everyone happy: I, Werewoman is a novel-length expansion of the Sabina Kim Werewoman short story I originally published as A Werewoman and Her Vampire. I'm expanding on it, adding in backstory and additional content going forward, and trying to create a real journey for the character, from becoming a Werewoman for the first time through trying to figure out how to be a woman when he/she has to be to creating a new equilibrium in his life through to what happens when that new balance is upset and the feminine part of his/her life starts taking over. I'm already at 1/3 of the size of my last full length novel, Addicted to Womanhood part one. I'm hoping writing I, Werewoman will help me figure out what's missing from Becoming Katelyn so that I can finally fix it and finish it.

The second full length novel is the first gender-bending litrpg novel of my career. One of the hard things about working on just Becoming Katelyn all the time has been that what I most want to write is a gender-bending litrpg novel, so I'm alternating back and forth now, between pure gender-bending erotica (I, Werewoman & Becoming Katelyn) and whenever I get stuck, my first gender-bending LITRPG novel.

Speaking of Novels: I think that, going forward, I am going to focus on longer novels over other kinds of content. I feel like serial short stories like Finders Keepers and Holly for the Holidays are just basically novels stretched out over several smaller books anyway, so maybe I should just stick to writing novels and publish them when they're finished. Who knows, maybe once I get several novels out there I'll decide to publish some short-story erotica one-offs, but I think primarily I'm a novel-writing kind of gal. I have no wit for brevity.
