Heya everyone,

I just wanted to give some insight in one of the way I am using AI. I mainly like using it for a bit of realism in clothes but this is a more extreme example.

As you can see in the image above I started off with an actual render from daz3d. Problem is that the Linkle model is kind of low quality. I could have improved it myself like I have before but this time around I wanted to try using AI to try to fix it.

Right away I get some good samples from the AI but to get it close to the render it can take hundred of samples. I finally settle with something I like and keep it.

I also have a render with underwear and I find that I like the face better since it's closer to the 3d model. So with some editing I copy the face over, I did this four times, to each iteration of the image.

AI saved me a bunch of time but its an editing hassle trying to get the image to look a certain way. And while it may be easier to simply type a prompt and get a masterpiece, I'd much rather use it in combination with my own images.

Anyway, just thought it would be interesting to share the process and hopefully with enough practice I can use it on a comic.
