AI images - Lucia (Patreon)

Heya everyone, 

something different today. If you've seen my twitter you know I was trying out AI art. Its an impressive and divisive piece of technology. I found out how to train the AI so I took my Lucia model and ran it through the program to see what it can do. 

What you see above are the head shots the AI learned for Lucia, then I  made sketches with the poses I wanted the character to take and surprisingly enough, it knew what I wanted. It still takes a long time to get the right results, a lot more work than I thought, especially when you want a specific pose, and even now you can see see some of the mistakes even after I cleaned it up a bit. 

The last three beach images were made made with the face model but this time with just text prompts.  It absolutely felt like cheating but I wanted to try it out.

Overall, I can see why AI is controversial, making art with just text needs no talent or passion. But using it to improve or help your workflow is very convenient. AI art isn't going anywhere anytime soon so I will keep using it but in my own way. I will only ever use AI art as a tool and not a replacement. And when I do use AI art I will always let you know, I hope everyone is fine with that.
